Workshop

Since there have been requests for me to teach, I have decided to do my first Workshop - Mindfulness in Art. Mindfulness in Art, also called Neuro Art, is an artistic process that connects the unconscious and conscious mind with the help of brain cells called neurons. It is a meditative and intuitive art form that creates visual representations that resemble neurons and cells.

My background for this lies partly as a visual artist and partly as a trained NLP Master (Neurolinguistic Programming). This is a psychological method that focuses on personal development and communication. NLP examines the relationship between how we think (neuro), how we communicate (linguistic) and our behavior patterns and emotions (programming). Mindfulness in Art – refers to the practice of being fully present and engaged in the creative process, using techniques such as meditation and deep breathing to improve self-awareness and emotional expression

EUROPEAN ART TRAIL 2024

I am extremely proud to have been offered to be part of this project.

The purpose of the European Art Way is to create awareness and relationships across national borders for artists who live outside the big cities.

The route starts in Germany and goes through Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and ends in Finland in October with a huge exhibition and party in the city.

During the summer, the European Art Trail will visit all exhibitors to do interviews and a short film to promote knowledge of the artists and this international project.

The Initial Installation

I have been toying with the idea of making an installation for a long time, and of course there must be a message that I want to visualize. I have given the installation the name "Gaia and Venus" - derived from my concern about increasing environmental and fertilization problems. I print the Venus figures on my 3D Ender printer.

3D Sculpture - Wall Art

This unique and original 3D print of cones in delicious colors placed on a black plate, is one of my new initiatives.

3D Sculpture - Venus from Willendorf

The original statuette in limestone, was found in Lower Austria, from about 20-25,000 f.Kr. The statuette has prominent female forms, but no facial features, and was presumably a kind of amulet to ensure human fertility. The copy is 3D printed in Silky Rainbow and has the size (wxhxd) 11 x 4.5 x 5, mounted on a stone plinth.
